Headed up by brothers Simon and Matt, Waffle Community is the outreach arm of Waffle. We want to do whatever we can to bring our community together so if you’ve got a new idea, or run an existing group or simply want to lend a hand – we would love to hear from you:

Volunteers and Work Experience
Our team of volunteer and work experience wafflers all have a passion for their community and help us with all sorts of things from gardening to social media, serving coffees to sitting with a vulnerable person in their home. We provide training and DBS (not to mention a t-shirt) for all our volunteers so no experience is necessary – just a heart for our community!
Waffle Workshops
We want to inspire others to have better and more adventurous conversations whether that is at work, at school or on the street. Our team will come to your school, church, or organisation and facilitate a free workshop based around what we have learned about the importance of conversations, curiosity and listening to form unlikely friendships and fight loneliness.
Community Hosting
We have hosted over 50 different local groups since starting Waffle and we love it! If you want to book our Community Table or a larger area for a community event or group, please get in touch.
Community Cards
We work with the Foodbank, local schools as well as the wider community to make sure our £5 community cards get paid forward to those that really need them. Paying someone’s meal for someone on behalf of the community is one our favourite things!
